...I've been interested in photography, I know some stuff about it, I took a photography class.
All the good cameras are over $1,000 and my budget is, hoping to be, less than $300.
Any good suggestions for a camera?
I've been looking on ebay cuz that's probably the only place I'll find a good camera for cheap.
Thanks in advance.
"Get an entry level DSLR
They usually run at about 500-600
I know that is way over your budged but trust me if you actually have an interest in photography and not just taking snap shots you NEED DSLR
Or, what most professionals suggest is start out with an old film slr camera. Old film cameras are a good way to learn the fundamentals and are a lot cheaper. In fact google Nikkormat, you could probably find a used one for 75-300 dollars. It is an old film camera from the 60s, it was given to photojournalists in vietnam and it is VERY VERY DURABLE you could drop it off a building and it probably woudln't break, i wouldn't suggest trying it though. Don't think that cuz it is old and shoots film it is poor quality, most film cameras, even from the 60s, are much sharper than modern digital cameras."
